CONTRACT TALKS CONTINUE:  Parties Agree to Further Extend Bargaining Deadline

(December 16, 2011) With progress, albeit slow progress, being made during ongoing National negotiations over the terms of the 2011 National Agreement, the National Postal Mail Handlers Union and the U.S. Postal Service have again agreed to extend the deadline for their bargaining.  The previously announced deadline was Friday, December 16, 2011, and the new deadline is Friday, January 20, 2012 at midnight.

 The National Office of the NPMHU appreciates the patience and support of the membership, and extends to all its wishes for a peaceful, joyous, and prosperous holiday season.
