Mail Handlers Support NALC National Food Drive - May 10, 2014

The NPMHU is proud to promote and support the food drive implemented by the National Association of Letter Carriers.  The NALC food drive works in partnership with the AFL-CIO Community Services network, United Way Worldwide, and the nation’s food bank network.  All citizens who want to participate in the food drive only need to place a box or can of non-perishable food next to their mailbox before their letter carriers deliver mail on Saturday, May 10th.  The carrier will do the rest.

The food collected is taken back to a postal station, and then sorted and delivered by union volunteers to area food banks or pantries for needy families to access.  Please help out on May 10 by donating to the NALC food drive.
