Mandatory Stand Up Talk on Temporary COVID 19 Vaccination Variance Request (pdf)

Please find linked above, a copy of the notification that we received from the Postal Service today on its plans to file a request for Temporary Variance from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s “COVID – 19 Vaccination and Testing: Emergency Temporary Standard.” The Postal Service also plans to request an Interim Order allowing an alternate means of protection, on a temporary basis, until OSHA renders a final decision on its Variance Application. Those alternate means would be the Postal Service’s existing COVID – 19 mitigation policies and protocols.

Also included, is a copy of the Variance Application and request for Interim Order that will be filed with OSHA this week.
